Perkins+Will, Dallas, TX
Architectural Designer, August 2016 - Present.

As a member of a healthcare studio, I was primarily assigned to a project that includes a new patient tower, clinical renovations, new central plant, re-skin of existing facade, and new entry. I took a special interest in exterior wall development on the new entry, coordinating with engineers and glazers to design a superstructure and curtain wall anchor that supported a 50’ ‘diagrid’ curtain wall. Working with senior designers I helped advance the entry from concept design to working under the supervision of the project architect and project managers to complete construction documents. Daily responsibilities include creating presentations, attending client meetings, consultant coordination, producing pricing drawings, rendering coordination, and general design exercises that include model building and utilization of virtual reality tools. I received the Perkins+Will Dallas Design Award in October 2016 in recognition of my contributions to this project.

Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, Chicago, IL
Architectural Designer, November 2015 - June 2016.

AS+GG is a mid-sized firm specializing in the construction of supertalls in the Middle East and Asia with an emphasis on the utilization of computational design tools. Through my experience as an intern and full-time designer, I served in both design and technical roles across several projects, working in competition, concept, schematic, and design development phases. In my most recent, technical role, I lead coordination of the podium for a residential high-rise in Mumbai. Other tasks included Revit project set-up, creating presentation content, physical model production, and front-end design work. I contributed to the development of the Astana Expo, one of the firm’s largest projects to date, currently under construction and set to open in 2017.
